Olivia Munn isn’t over the moon about the upcoming Blue Origin mission with an all-female space crew.
While serving as co-host on the April 3 episode of Today With Jenna and Friends, the actress questioned the need for the mission, which is set to include Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, and Katy Perry.
“What are they doing?” the Your Friends and Neighbors star, 44, asked of the crew, which also includes former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.

“I know this probably isn’t the cool thing to say,” she added, per Page Six. “But there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.”
She later added, “What are you guys gonna do up in space? What are you doing up there?”
After host Jenna Bush Hager shared the mission would last a short 11 minutes, the Babymakers star compared the experience to the women having their “own” version of Disney’s Space Mountain rollercoaster.

Munn then questioned why the mission, which will be the 11th human flight for the New Shepard rocket program and the 31st in the company’s history, needed to be made public, asking, “If you wanna go to space, why do you need to tell us about it, you know? It’s just like, go up there, have a good time, come on down.”
Another gripe for Munn was the cost of the mission. She said, “I know this is probably obnoxious, but like, it’s so much money to go to space, and there’s a lot of people who can’t even afford eggs.”
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' latest Consumer Price Index, the price of eggs rose 10.4% in February, and 15.2% in January. The steep hikes contributed to the nearly 60% price increase since February of last year, due to the worsening bird flu outbreak and inflation as a whole.

She also pondered the environmental impact, saying, “This is a lot of resources being spent.”
Bush Hager added the crew intended to be in full glam during the mission, to which Munn responded, “What? They said this out loud?!”
“What’s the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous,” she said. “Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?”
Blue Origin did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Earlier this month, the crew revealed their plan to blast off in style during an interview with Elle.
"Who would not get glam before the flight?!" asked Sánchez, whose fiancé Jeff Bezos founded the spaceflight company in 2000. "We’re going to have lash extensions flying in the capsule!"
"Will the lashes stay on? I’m curious," asked King, to which Sánchez, 55, replied, "Mine are glued on. They’re good."
Perry, 40, added: "Space is going to finally be glam. Let me tell you something. If I could take glam up with me, I would do that. We are going to put the 'ass' in astronaut."
